Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality medications and services. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication histories and train new technicians on departmental procedures Prepare and compound pharmaceuticals, including sterile and non-sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products Verify patient medication records and maintain accurate and complete records Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain required records Provide efficient and timely service to patients and staff Maintain competency requirements for current job title/position and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and best practices Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-5 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice required; Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred ACPE accredited IV certification program, including hazardous (minimum 40 hours); or meet minimum State requirement Work Schedule Varies, with opportunities for Per Diem As Needed scheduling.
