CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company that provides occupational medical services nationwide, has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills. Medical Assistant (MA) Job requirements include but are not limited to the following: Administers physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, drug and alcohol testing, and other testing as needed Performs basic lab tests and prepares specimens; administers medication and injections; performs blood draws; splints; and applies dressings. Performs daily exam room and stock inspection, ensure supplies are adequate for patient care Assists attending medical provider during examinations and procedures Administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phone, maintaining patient charts Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to professional certification, patient confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA, treatment and safety guidelines COVID duties - temperatures screens, questionnaire, vital signs, testing Performs other front and back-office duties as assigned Qualifications Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) course from an accredited/recognized school Medical Assistant (MA) certificate consistent with requirements specified by the State Medical Board Current BCLS with AED certificates Clinical experience is preferred Pay Range: $20 - 23 / hour HP1
