CNA Job responsibilities:

  • Provides personal care and housekeeping assistance to our clients in their homes; follows the established plan of care under the direction of the client care coordinator.
  • Provides personal hygiene and grooming care to our clients
  • Provides meals for clients' nutritional needs
  • Reports changes in clients' condition to client care coordinator or supervisor
  • Performs routine housekeeping and home management duties
  • Records each client's care on care plan and submits care plan in a timely manner
  • Responds sensitively to the multiple, complex needs of a terminal client which includes providing end of life care.
  • Assists with routine therapy exercises
  • Participates in case conferences as requested

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred

Licensure/Certification: CNA Certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services

Experience: Six months experience as Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency, preferred
