LOCATION:

  • On-site in Agawam, MA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Oversee the execution of public relations strategies to enhance awareness and manage reputation for various initiatives for multiple locations within your region.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other materials to attract media attention and achieve communication objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders to ensure positive coverage.
  • Execute media outreach efforts, including pitching story ideas and handling interview requests.
  • Organize and oversee press events and community outreach programs to ensure effective engagement.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 3-5+ years of public relations/media relations experience.
  • Strong media relations and crisis communication skills to navigate complex situations effectively.
  • Proven experience in media pitching and relationship building to foster positive connections.
  • Multi-location experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within tourism, entertainment, attraction, news, or similar industries.
  • Strong writing skills with a portfolio and/or writing samples required.
