LOCATION:
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Oversee the execution of public relations strategies to enhance awareness and manage reputation for various initiatives for multiple locations within your region.
- Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other materials to attract media attention and achieve communication objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders to ensure positive coverage.
- Execute media outreach efforts, including pitching story ideas and handling interview requests.
- Organize and oversee press events and community outreach programs to ensure effective engagement.
A BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 3-5+ years of public relations/media relations experience.
- Strong media relations and crisis communication skills to navigate complex situations effectively.
- Proven experience in media pitching and relationship building to foster positive connections.
- Multi-location experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience within tourism, entertainment, attraction, news, or similar industries.
- Strong writing skills with a portfolio and/or writing samples required.
