Job Title - Materials Handler (Heavy) I
Job Location - Altavista,VA
Shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am
Job Description:
  • This position is NonExempt.
  • Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near plant, yard or work site.
  • Reads and follows work orders and/or oral instructions; uses hand tools to open containers.
  • Transports materials using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow or other devices.
  • Additional experience required - Data entry using ORACLE (ADMS). Measure and weigh materials using weighing scale and ruler or similar devices.
  • Computer Skills. Experience with shipping (UPS/FedEx) and receiving (preferred).
  • Will be required to operate an electric or battery operated Forklift and/or other heavy machinery equipment.
  • High School graduate or equivalent. 0-2 Years experience.
