Position Overview: As a Wedding Event Planner, you will play a critical role in both driving sales and planning weddings at our beautiful wedding venues, Bonnet Island Estate and Mallard Island Yacht Club! You will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, managing inquiries, and converting leads into booked events. Your ability to identify client needs, offer tailored services, and guide them through the entire wedding planning process will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Lead Generation: Follow up on leads to convert prospects into booked clients.
- Client Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with engaged couples to understand their vision, needs, and budget. Provide expert advice and guidance on wedding planning options.
- Sales Presentations: Present customized wedding packages and services to clients, showcasing venue options, vendors, and other event details.
- Proposal & Contract Creation: Create tailored proposals, detailing event packages, pricing, and services. Negotiate and close contracts with clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the planning process. Ensure seamless communication and respond to client inquiries promptly.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with our event coordinators to ensure the execution of each wedding is flawless, from design to the day-of logistics.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets for the number of weddings planned and revenue generated.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in sales, event planning, or a related field. Wedding planning experience is a plus.
- Sales Skills: Strong ability to convert inquiries into sales and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Passion for Weddings: A genuine passion for creating memorable events and working with couples to bring their dream wedding to life.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and information to clients.
- Organization & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a high level of organization.
- Proactive & Results-Driven: Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office
