Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift
M-F 3PM-11PM
$23.50/HR plus $1.00/HR Shift Differential
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate with a safety mindset. You will be in a distribution center stocking, counting, and moving products.
What you'll do:
- Deliver industry leading service to our customer by being actively engaged in your area of operation
- Load and/or unload incoming and/or outgoing materials and products
- Sort & move palletized and bulk materials in and out of trailers, flatbeds, containers, loading docks, and storage racks/areas
- Packing & wrapping of boxed/palletized goods with a quality focus on accurate counting and auditing of material
- Identify/label materials/pallets, and track their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, picking, packing, and loading the items for delivery (both physically and systematically)
- Required to operate Powered Industrial Trucks including but not limited to: pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and stock chasers to move material
- Use RF scanner/computer to retrieve product codes, part numbers, product quantities, location information, etc.
- Track and log all checklists for PIT's (Powered Industrial Trucks)
- Ensure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and all plant rules are being followed daily
- Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards as defined by site leadership
- Responsible to conduct themselves in line with company mission statement, core values, and standards of conduct
- Works with Supervisor/Manager to plan workload, priorities, supplies needed, and assess skills to complete tasks
- Printing and sorting order paperwork
- Performing cycle counts as needed
- All other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- A positive attitude focused on safety, quality, and engagement
- Excellence in detail accuracy, organizational skills, reasoning, and logic to identify process improvements
- Strong verbal, written, reading, and communication skills
- Intermediate computer PC/RF scanner skills
- Basic math and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a drug screen and background.
- Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and manipulate up to 30lbs or assist in a team lift of 31+ pounds
- Standing and walking up to 12 hours per day
- 3+ years of Forklift Certification/Previous Experience operating is preferred
- 3+ years of Warehouse experience in a retail/large box distribution center is preferred
