POSITION DESCRIPTION: The welcoming Le Verger residence is currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant in the care unit. We welcome autonomous and semi-autonomous residents. Join our team now as a Beneficiary Attendant.
TEMPORARY position (indefinite sick leave replacement) part-time between 22.5 and 30 hours per week, evenings from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
Answering call bells
Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
Delivering messages to the nursing staff
In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
Respond to all emergency situations
While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good communication
Knowledge of Symo software (an asset)
Law 90 training
Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
PDSB training
