Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support State License Verification ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (as this role is for the Operating Room, which is a relevant environment for ACLS) Certified Nurse - Operating Room (CNOR) Certification (Preferred but not mandatory) Job Details Hours: 6:00 AM-4:00PM Monday through Friday on site but available if needed on week-ends, nights, etc. on a rotating basis. Covers on call with other Coordinators Monday-Friday 24/7 and rotates week-ends for calls from staff Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois Three (3) years of Operating Room (OR) Nursing work experience One (1) year of Nursing supervisory work experience Schedule Information The Schedule Board Coordinator is responsible for the management and supervision of the Operating Room(OR) and staffing requirements. Unit Specific Information The OR Schedule Board Coordinator is a manager position and requires significant experience in having direct reports, evaluations, scheduling, and running the OR schedule with Anesthesia.
