Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIH Required Job Details Travel/Contract position 13 Weeks contract length 36 hours/week schedule May float between MS/Tele units, MS/Neuro, MS/Oncology, MS/Orthopedic, and Observation units as needed Patient Ratios: 1:6 18 beds on the unit Patient mix includes medical conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, diabetes, cardiac issues, and occasional post-surgical patients Knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, blood glucose monitoring, and telemetry monitoring are highly recommended General knowledge of patient mobility equipment such as hoyer lifts and ambulation aids required Navy blue scrubs required EPIC charting system Job Requirements 2 years experience required BLS, ACLS, NIH Required Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam, RWJ Stroke CEUs required Schedule Information Will work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (SAT/SUN) Additional Details First time travelers accepted
