Certification Details Certs Req: BLS, NRP Call Req: No Job Details Position / Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN Start date: 12/2 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 48 hours pref, will accept 36 hours too RTO Restrictions: No More than 5-6 Days Ratios: 1:1 Years of experience Req: 3 Years, exp at teaching hospitals (at least 3 years NICU exp at level III) First-timers accepted: No Weekend Req: Variable - scheduled on an as needed basis Floating within Hospital: Yes - to Mother Baby to care for babies only Floating to sister Hospitals: No Open to accommodating block schedule: No – unless posting states otherwise Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max Hospital Highlights Type of Facility Montlake: Magnet, Teaching Center Total Staffed Beds: 637 Scrub Color: Any Color – Scrubs provided for OR personnel Charting: EPIC Parking Costs: $9.50 Daily Job Requirements 3 Years experience required Experience at teaching hospitals required NICU experience at level III required Schedule Information 48 hours preferred, will accept 36 hours too Variable weekends - scheduled as needed Additional Details 54-bed level III unit serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants. The majority of the patients are very low birth weight premies requiring ventilatory support. New state of the art unit. Guaranteed Hours: In event of low census, Healthcare Providers may be called off or placed on-call in 4 hour increments up to 1 shift's worth of hours in a 2-week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
