2nd shift (Night Shift)
Monday - Friday
Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Pallet Storage and Retrieval: Safely place palletized units into overhead racks and retrieve them for outbound shipments.
- Accurate Inventory Tracking: Record materials, weight, counts, and food item condition using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
- Loading and Unloading: Move materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices for smooth workflow.
- Forklift Maintenance: Complete daily check sheets and ensure equipment readiness.
- Battery Care: Monitor, maintain, and charge batteries, and return equipment to proper charging stations.
- Operate Machinery: Work with various material handling equipment as required.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) - Math Proficiency: Basic math skills for accurate record-keeping.
- Clear Communication: Ability to understand instructions in the official language.
- Adaptability to Temperature Extremes: Work in cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) environments with provided PPE.
- Physical Strength: Lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs (may vary by facility).
- Noise Tolerance: Comfortable with different noise levels, which may at times be loud.
