Job Description

As the Bio-Rad Production Operator, you are responsible for inspecting, sorting and packaging injection molded parts in a fast-paced environment and in accordance with approved procedures. This includes work both in and out of a clean room environment. This is a swing shift role, Monday through Friday from 2 pm - 10:30 pm in our Santa Rosa, CA site.
The Bio-Rad Global Supply Chain's Manufacturing teams focus on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers' expectations. This role is based in our Woodinville, Wa facilities.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • The qualified individual will ensure that production losses are minimal through timely communication of issues to the supervisor and will work in strict accordance to approved production and quality procedures.
  • Operator will work around injection molding machines and must ensure that safe working practices are followed.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is a must.
  • This position requires the use personal protective equipment and clean room gowns.
  • This position requires a strong team player with good interpersonal skills.

What you Bring:

  • High School education required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced clean room environment is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift or occasionally move items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable using hands, reaching and handling small parts and measuring tools for extended periods.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $35,100 to $48,300 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
