Maintenance Technician

Summary:
- Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs as necessary on all machinery and equipment, including but not limited to filling equipment, pumps, conveyors, and forklifts.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all maintenance and repair needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to install, set up, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, material handling equipment and building systems.
- Performs scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment including replacing defective parts, adjusting settings, and calibrating systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with filling equipment, pumps, and forklifts is a plus.
