Safety is an integral part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards to always make safety a priority. The Melting Utility role requires a working knowledge of the melting process that will include but be limited to scrap and raw materials, furnace and LMF refractories, EAF operations and LMF operations.?The selected candidate will be expected to cross-train and learn all positions in the melting process. The qualified candidate must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
