Job Description

An innovative and local artistic hair salon is seeking a thorough and motivated Salon Administrative Assistant to join their team! Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to salon management, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars
* Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling inquiries, bookings, and communication across phone, email, and social media
* Manage inventory by tracking supplies, coordinating with vendors, and placing orders to ensure stock availability
* Support operations with payroll, invoicing, expense tracking, and budget monitoring
* Maintain accurate records, including client details, appointment histories, and staff files
* Help onboard new staff, maintain schedules, and support HR efforts to promote a positive work environment
* Manage the company's business calendar, keep tasks organized, and occasionally represent them in meetings


Requirements:

* 1+ year of office-based experience in an administrative, clerical, or retail capacity
* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Canva experience - a plus!
