Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. is actively searching for a Maintenance Inventory Clerk – 2nd Shift for the Pendleton, SC location. The successful candidate will be able to lead the custodial team with the goal of providing a clean and sanitary working environment for employees and visitors.  Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™

2nd Shift:  2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Main Objective:

Ensure that maintenance cribs have the tools and supplies necessary to support production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain EAM records of crib contents
  • Prepare parts for upcoming P.M.s according to schedule
  • Fill in and assist in the Maintenance Planner as needed
  • Insure all parts are labeled properly and put away in their designated area.
  • Performs spot checks on inventory.
  • Reviews packing slips to insure orders are accurate and timely
  • Assist Maintenance and Facilities as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of related experience in inventory systems and/or performing preventive maintenance required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/ Specialized Courses and/or Training:

 Working knowledge of maintenance shop environment and inventory control.  Demonstrates good organization skills and attention to detail. Demonstrates housekeeping etiquette. Intermediate computer skills required. (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Demonstrated experience maintaining CNC and Injection Mold machines.

Advanced knowledge and training in electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

Physical Demands:

Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Vision Requirements:

Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively including close vision.
