Supply Chain Technician 1

The Supply Chain Tech is responsible for receiving and distributing supplies to medical center units and affiliates.

The technician may be assigned to one of four main functions:

• Supply re-stocking (patient care areas)
• Order sorting and distribution (Central Supply)
• Resupply cart stocking (CSUP Resupply area)
• Shipping/receiving (Receiving dock)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, pack, and unpack supplies for storage or delivery.
• Accurately count and record stock items.
• Verify inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Check received supplies for accuracy and damage, reporting issues to the supervisor.
• Meet performance standards and timelines.
• Operate AGV system supply carts and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
• Answer phone calls according to department guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a service role or similar position.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with personal computers is preferred.

Available Schedules:

• Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Mid Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Note:

• Because this is a healthcare facility employees will be required to pass a medical assessment including vaccinations, along with a standard background check and drug screening.
