Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee our client's manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management, production planning, and lean manufacturing principles.

Qualified Candidates should possess the following:

* Extrusion experience with rubber and/or plastic foams (preferably thermal insulation foam)*

* 5-10 years of plant manager experience

* Experience with SAP software

* Continuous improvement experience

* Budget and purchasing experience

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Develop and implement strategies for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee supply chain management, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize production scheduling and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing techniques across the plant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plant management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, production management, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
• A degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
