A top tier Architectural/Engineering firm with offices throughout the United States is looking to find a top-notch Master Planner with a proven record community master planning. Military master planning and experience is a major plus!

Ideal candidate will have DoD federal agency and military master planning project experience both within the US and Overseas. Remote with some travel may be a possibility.


Responsibilities

  • Work a team of professionals at various levels for planning and design assignments
  • Develop schedules, budgets, and internal taskings for assigned project elements
  • Prepare proposals and marketing materials, and attending various networking events
  • Create opportunities for the planning team and company
  • Work within the company project management protocols and procedures
  • Team management and resourcing, identify skill development requirements
  • Perform technical QA/ QC of project deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning, architecture, engineering, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • 8+ years experience working on planning/design projects. Military experience preferred.
  • A leader and teammate who can work with multiple offices, subcontractors, and client representatives to get things done
  • A people person who can speak and write well and is skilled working with large project teams
  • Can tackle big projects and get them done on time
  • Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgement, and a critical eye for detail, completeness, and competency
  • AICP Certification, Register Architect or Register Landscape Architect is important
  • Knows Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
