As part of our ongoing expansion, we seek a Fellows Education Program Manager to join our team.
Position Summary
The Fellows Education Program Manager (FPM) will support Training & Education departmental initiatives and activities related to fellowship physicians and programs. Reporting to the Director of Training and Education, the primary focus of this role will be to build relationships by working closely with fellowship programs and multiple stakeholders to develop, execute and assess effectiveness of fellow education programs. The FM will work closely alongside field sales and clinical teams to determine training gaps and unmet needs in fellows’ education and create experiences for additional engagement. Fellowship programs to include transplant surgery, abdominal transplant, hepatobiliary surgery, transplant hepatology
Responsibilities
- Implement fellowship program engagement strategy for fellowship programs in aligned segment with input from multiple stakeholders including the Director of Training and Education and the Commercial Team
- Promote and deliver educational content for fellows in collaboration with clinical team and KOL’s in the Transplant Surgery space
- Communicate to upcoming fellows, engagement opportunities to field and fellowship programs to ensure adoption of fellows learning curriculum, best practices, and transition to practice
- Provide feedback on the strategic implementation and assessment of the need for new fellows’ programs and modifications of existing fellows’ programs based on follow-up, customer satisfaction, utilization, and metrics
- Handle all communication and follow up with the fellows’ events, attendees, and field referrals in given segment
- Track fellows throughout educational journey and communicate and collaborate with the Commercial Team regarding outgoing fellows information and transition to practice
- .Identify and develop new and emerging key opinion leaders through key customer visits, HQ executive programs, regional education courses and local programs
- Ensure field sales and clinical personnel are aware of programs, registration, and enrollment processes
- Attend key training programs, symposia, and conferences related to areas of interest
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience implementing fellowship programs in the medical device space
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Science related field
- Experience working with teaching institutions, program directors and fellowship programs
- Clinical understanding of abdominal transplant surgery, NRP and NMP preferred
- Demonstrated ability to have challenging discussions with key physicians to modify behaviors and promote best training practices
- Experience handling large quantities of data, including collection and analysis (advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, experienced developing relationships at all organizational levels to influence business objectives
- Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Track record of success in a sales or clinical role
- Experience handling key customer relationships and working with key opinion leaders in fellowship programs
- Must be highly flexible and willing to support sites as needed within and across North America
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure
- Must be able to enthusiastically work at fast pace in dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Trave l: Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time for fellowship conferences, monitoring responsibilities, corporate meetings, training and educational seminars
- Physical Deman ds: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The position may require sitting for significant periods of the day while working on the computer. The employee must occasionally lift or move items weight up to 50 pounds
