We are partnered with a law firm seeking a full time Associate with one year of litigation experience to join the No Fault Litigation Defense Practice. Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable No Fault Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling no-fault insurance cases, representing clients in negotiations and litigation, and providing legal guidance related to personal injury claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of no-fault insurance claims from initial consultation through resolution.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options under no-fault insurance laws.
• Preparing pleadings, discovery, demands and responses.
• Drafting reports and provide file analysis
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other parties to achieve favorable settlements.
• Court and arbitration appearances as needed
• Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and case law pertaining to no-fault insurance.
• Conduct legal research and draft opinions, memoranda, and other documents as required.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• 1+ years of litigation experience no-fault insurance or personal injury law preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
