Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Eden Senior Care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role

This is a part-time Weekend Warrior position within our Baylor Program, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for extra hours or overtime. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care, prioritize resident needs, and maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention and care to residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Attend to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other resident needs.
• Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, such as checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
• Maintain accurate medical records, documenting care provided and other relevant information.
• Ensure established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of long-term care principles and practices preferred.
