Manage the safety aspects of all projects
o Pre-construction planning as it pertains to Safety
o Manage the safety program in its entirety
o Conduct new hire orientation and distribute PPE
o Manage work comp cases including claims and light duty
o Investigate all incidents
o Manage OSHA 300s
o Assist in site specific safety plans including JHAs
o Assist in managing the captive insurance plans and requirements-including attending meetings as needed (2 per year)
o Assemble PowerPoints and manage monthly foremen meetings
o Review and manage OSHA required training
• Participate in all internal Company meetings
o Site Specific Safety Plan & Site Specific Erection Plan
o Project hand-off/kick-off with estimator, foremen, general superintendent & safety
o Weekly resource coordination meetings
o Post Project review meetings
• Communicate Project Safety needs between General Contractor & Office
• Communicate changing project safety requirements with superintendent and foreman
• Promote Company Vision & Values within and outside the company
• Other duties as required to make the company successful
Required Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
o CHST or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Commitment to safety and an injury free workplace
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Customer oriented and focused on team success
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Bluebeam
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
