Our client located in Nashville, TN is seeking an experience Warehouse Manager . This position will be responsible for the managing the branch warehouse and ensuring company workplace health and safety.

• Work hours: 5:00am-1:30pm, or 6:00am-2:00pm

Responsibilities:

• All phases of facility maintenance – warehouse and building grounds
• Keep warehouse clean and organized
• Material inventory management; prepare a list of non-inventory items for Purchasing
• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
• Great problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal setting and conflict management
• Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking
• Manage the Divisional operations that function within the Cary warehouse (i.e. Raco, Division 10, etc.)
• Issue and receive materials
• Schedule deliveries and help in loading trucks
• Supervise all warehouse personnel. Train to recognize and report Safety issues
• Supervise tool and merchandise sales to field employees
• Investigate & document all personal property damage. Send accident report to Corporate Risk
• Independent determination/recommendation of excess inventory disposal
• Purchasing of replacement tools and responsible for ordering and maintaining Safety equipment
• Get competitive rates from all companies in your area
• Keep warehouse vehicles clean inside and outside on a regular basis

What you need:

• 4+ years of warehouse management experience
• Valid ID and background check passes
• Knowledge of DOT requirements preferred
• Physically fit to handle daily activities. Includes but not limited to; lifting (up to 75lbs), walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, etc.
