About Our Client: We're partnering with America's largest metal food packaging producer. This industry leader is revolutionizing their sector through sustainable practices, including increased recycled content and renewable energy initiatives. Their Burlington facility, opened in 2016, represents one of their most technologically advanced manufacturing operations.
The Role: Our client seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a team of 18-20 skilled maintenance professionals in their 24/7 operation. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a crucial part in maintaining their high-speed manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of mechanics, electricians, machinists, and millwrights
- Drive preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while maximizing production efficiency
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to enhance quality
- Collaborate with operations management on continuous improvement initiatives
What You Need:
- Associate degree in technical field OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years maintenance experience
- 2-5 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing (5 years preferred)
- Expertise in at least one area: electrical, mechanical, or manual machining
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and related programming software
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Schedule:
- First shift position (approximately 50 hours/week)
- Monday-Friday with flexible hours
- Occasional evening coverage to support night shift operations
