The role:

Our client, a medical device plastics manufacturer, is looking for an experienced injection molding production manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a 24/5 plastic injection molding operation, including management of personnel and over 30 machines.
• Actively participate in daily manufacturing tasks, including troubleshooting, process adjustments, and monitoring cycle times and changeover durations.
• Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet on-time delivery targets and uphold customer satisfaction.
• Oversee P&L management, achieve monthly production targets and KPIs, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety practices, production methods, equipment performance, and quality standards.

Must Haves:

• 5 or more years of experience as a supervisor or manager in custom injection molding.
• Proven ability to manage multiple shifts and oversee 30+ machines.
• Track record of meeting budgetary and performance goals (on-time delivery, quality, efficiency).
• Experience with process improvement.
• Experience in scientific molding or custom injection molding.
