The Role
As a Director of Artificial Intelligence, you will develop scalable, responsible AI platforms and solutions, driving ethical, privacy-focused, and innovative generative experiences to improve customer outcomes:
- Lead the creation, development, and deployment of AI solutions focused on promoting family well-being.
- Spearhead AI initiatives across multiple teams, with expertise in generative AI, computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and natural language processing (NLP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-driven solutions that support various business units.
- Develop and implement multimodal AI systems that integrate diverse data types, such as text, images, audio, and video, to create advanced and impactful AI-driven solutions.
- Develop privacy-preserving AI systems that align with the division’s mission to deliver positive, tangible outcomes for families.
- Advocate for emerging AI technologies to foster innovation and drive business growth.
- Partner with internal and external teams to create forward-thinking AI products in generative AI, computer vision, and related fields.
- Champion innovative AI approaches that advance family health and well-being through our products.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop scalable software platforms that empower teams to deploy AI solutions efficiently.
Requirements
- Ideally have over 7 years of experience in a leadership role within engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
- Hands-on experience with multimodal AI systems, integrating data from various sources such as text, images, audio, and video to build comprehensive and effective AI solutions.
- Extensive experience in designing and deploying AI models and systems in production environments.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of influencing executives and fostering alignment.
- In-depth knowledge of Responsible AI practices and ethical considerations surrounding AI implementation.
- Experience in healthcare or wellness industries is a plus.
- This role is based in San Francisco, and candidates will need to relocate from Chicago to fulfill the position requirements.
