Human Resources Generalist - $75k - $85k/year
Aegis Worldwide is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist for the plant operations team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth payroll processing, benefits administration, and talent acquisition for plant-based personnel. As an advocate for our Company Vision, you’ll support a positive work environment, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Manage all activities to process weekly payroll and maintain accurate records.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits inquiries and manage the open enrollment process.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and retention of plant personnel, handle internal and external hiring needs, and manage partnerships with external recruiters.
- Employee Relations: Provide exceptional employee support throughout the employment lifecycle, assist with Leaves of Absence, and conduct new employee orientations.
- Personnel Records Management: Maintain accurate personnel, medical, and benefits records.
- Employee Investigations & Disciplinary Guidance: Conduct investigations and advise management on resolutions, disciplinary actions, and performance plans.
- Learning & Development: Support employee growth through internal training initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance: Coordinate safety-related issues and stay updated on employment law and best practices.
- Vision Committee Participation: Actively support company goals through plant and community events.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant HR or payroll experience.
- Skills: Strong written and oral communication, intermediate decision-making, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Attributes: Organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize work with limited supervision.
Working Conditions
- Travel : Up to 50% within plant locations
