About:

An AM 100 ranked national law firm are looking to grow their Environmental practice group. They are looking to onboard into their multiple Ohio office locations.

The practice group has been recognised by Chambers USA for their Environmental Capabilities in Indiana and Ohio, alongside Best Lawyers ranking the team in Tier 1 consecutively for the past eight years. The Environmental team engage in a broad array of capabilities including air emissions, contaminated sites, environmental litigation, waste, water, climate change & carbon emissions, and ESG.

Role requirements:

• The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years of relevant law firm experience.
• Experience in environmental compliance, enforcement defense, transactional diligence and drafting, ESG diligence and program development, risk mitigation, and environmental litigation.
• Experience working as the lead associate on transactions.
• Previously worked with other attorneys on various aspects of due diligence, negotiation, and document drafting.
• Draft necessary agreements and documents with efficiency and clarity.
• Manage projects from commencement to closing.
• Competently and professionally participate in client meetings and calls.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and supervising attorneys.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional project management skills.
