Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. The Dental Office Manager will ensure that the office runs smoothly, supporting both administrative and clinical staff to deliver a seamless patient experience.


Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily administrative operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination.
  • Manage patient accounts, billing, and collections, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Coordinate with dental and administrative staff to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with dental regulations, health and safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
  • Manage and track office budgets, inventory, and supplies, optimizing resources to control costs.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain high standards of care.
  • Support recruiting, training, and performance management of office staff.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and empathetically.
  • Oversee insurance claims processing and follow-up with insurance companies for timely reimbursements.
  • Monitor practice performance, analyze metrics, and prepare reports for the dental practice owner.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role, ideally within a dental or medical practice.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, billing, and insurance procedures.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
