Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 academic year in Tracy, California. This full-time, W2 contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and crisis management
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure effective learning environments
- Use data-driven strategies to assess and address student performance
- Lead and participate in student support meetings, providing expertise on psychological evaluations and intervention plans
- Deliver workshops for educators and parents on relevant psychological and behavioral topics
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Proven experience in a school-based setting, preferably in K-12 environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
