As a Service Technician for Rotoweld, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of automated welding equipment. The role involves frequent travel (40-80 days per year), including international assignments, to ensure optimal machine performance and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to welding and equipment.
Communicate with clients using various software.
Install, start up, and train clients on Rotoweld equipment.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automated welding systems.
Train client operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and upkeep.
Document interventions and create service reports.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams for technical improvements.
Requirements:
Degree in Welding, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes.
Experience as a service technician or 3-5 years as a pipe welder with MIG, or as a welding supervisor.
Bilingual (English and French).
Proficient in using Windows and other software.
Strong troubleshooting skills in a field setting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
