Department Overview
TD’s Digital Strategy, Innovation and Payments focuses on accelerating TD's innovation agenda to position TD for the future. The team is comprised of 4 pillars: Digital Strategy, Enterprise Payments, Enterprise Innovation & Design, and External Ecosystems.
The Enterprise Payments organization is evolving to drive thought leadership and oversight for payments across the enterprise. The team is looking to drive efficient and effective transformation, differentiated value propositions including strategic partnerships, exceptional customer experiences, leveraging rich payments data and ensuring robust risk management.
Job Description
As the Vice-President, Enterprise Payments Strategy and Partnerships, you will develop and refine TD's Payments strategy, gaining buy-in from senior leadership and ensuring alignment and consistency across partners. In addition, you will be accountable for:
Enterprise Payments Strategy: Develop the strategic vision and 3-5 year roadmap for long term payments strategy for Enterprise payments.
Collaborate with internal innovation partners to develop innovative solutions.
Lead the Enterprise Payments Council.
Partner with TD Corporate Development and innovation partners to evaluate and develop a portfolio of payments partnerships.
Represent TD at industry-level Payments forums.
Line of Business Engagement on Payments Strategies: Compile end-to-end aggregation of Payment Strategies across all lines of business.
Play both an integration and influence role as a deep Payment expert.
Define and report on enterprise metrics.
Development and management of Canadian payments partnership and acquisition strategy and roadmap.
Deep Payments Expertise: Lead team of deep Payments experts.
Align internal and external partners.
Lead the team in developing new businesses around industry payments capabilities.
Specific Educational Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferred.
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Previous experience developing and executing on strategies.
Significant depth of payments experience.
Deep understanding of interactions within a payments value chain.
Robust knowledge of payments P&L drivers.
Inquisitive, avid learner and comfortable with experimentation.
Highly effective communicator.
Proven ability in leveraging deep subject matter expertise.
Strong people management skills.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Expertise in working effectively in teams.
Robust organizational skills.
