Additional Details Nights, Every Other Weekend, first to float. Unit: PICU. 8 beds—average census 2. Ratios: 1 to 2. EMR: Cerner. Charge Nurse: Rarely. Nurse Aides: None. Scrub Color: Navy Blue. Tele: Spacelab tele monitors, nurses must read own strips. Vents: Yes. Peds Hospitalist Intensivist in house: Yes, in house 24/7. IV Team: None. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes. Call: If census low and scheduled, may be asked to be on standby. Floating: general peds and burn. Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts PICU, 1 shift peds, 1 shift burn (for peds).
