Cardiology Locums Part-time Maryland JOB

Hospital: 7a-3p; Call: 3:30p-8p
Coverage Dates both Hospital and Night call.

Providers Typical Day: TEE's as needed. this provider will see New patient consults and will be assisted by an APP
Candidate will work solo
On Call coverage has a separate pay
Average Admissions While On Call: 2 Required: DO;MD Board Status: Board Certified in Cardiology State License Required to Apply?: Yes Minimum # Years Experience: 5 State Licensure: Maryland Certifications Required: ACLS;BLS CSR License Required?: No Privileges Available: Full Privileges 60 days; Temp Privileges avail on clean file EMR / Charting: Epic
Providers Information on Census and work day: When the providers cover hospital, they provide TEEs and cardioversions to the inpatients. We typically do not have enough volume to proctor someone for TEEs quickly and would need to block one of our own physicians schedules to have this occur. Census: This is dependent on the hospital census for cardiac services. The physician will be assigned to work with an APP (either an NP or PA). The APP assists with helping see appropriate follow up patients.
COMPENSATION; Highly competitive hourly rate for locums Part-Time. Malpractice Insurance is covered Client covers all travel and can send a list of closest airports.
