Job Description Customer Service Representative II - Kennesaw, GA This is a salaried, non-exempt-level position.
POSTION SUMMARY: The Customer Service Representative II position is an integral part of the Customer Service team and reports to the Customer Support Manager. The CSR II is primary owner and point of contact for the order fulfillment process from quote to delivery. This position requires the ability to independently resolve transactional questions and problems with minimal supervision. The CSR II position also requires organization skills, detail orientation, analytical skills, effective communication and a customer-centric mindset. This role requires proficiency in all computer systems that support the order fulfillment process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process and manage new and revised customer orders.
- Proactively communicate all significant order fulfillment updates and resolve any potential issues.
- Communicate with cross functional support teams including Sales, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, etc. on current orders, future business activity, and demand trends.
- Follow up on all customer supplied materials to ensure inventory is available when needed for production.
- Submit, track, and facilitate with appropriate departments all customer sample requests and testing requirements.
- Complete customer requests for information relating to quotes and orders.
- Assist Sales department with projects, including participation in customer facing meetings and events.
- Work with Finance to monitor payment and credit status of customers to ensure appropriate and timely release of products for shipment.
- Coordinate shipping arrangements with customers and the warehouse to ensure orders are shipped on time.
- Perform administrative tasks in support of customer needs and business requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of a 2 year college degree (Associates Degree) supplemented with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to multi-task and excel within high risk, fast-paced work environment
- Must have excellent communication and customer relations skills; written and orally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and Outlook with basic mathematics skills.
- Demonstrated skill using a CRM system such as Salesforce and an ERP system a plus
- General sales skills, international business and export experience a plus.
