Phlebotomist

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in our Patient Service Center or Client office.

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. Additionally, you will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

You may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which offers a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Work Schedule and Location:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and rotating Saturdays

Meridian, ID

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Administrative duties as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
• Able to pass a color blindness test
