Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs and budget considerations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to job sites.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or multifamily development industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
