Our material handling crew is critical in the execution of our daily receiving activities, job staging and deliveries. This position is responsible for picking building material orders, staging product, assisting with loading and the safe operation of some power equipment.
The Material Handler is Responsible for:
•Pull and stage building material products (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
•Load and unload materials on various truck types (semi, box truck, flat bed)
•Assist customers with loading materials.
•Correctly complete shipping and inventory documents.
•Operate material handling equipment.
•Follow all safety procedures and personal protection requirements.
•Working in all weather conditions.
Requirements
•Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
•Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
•18 Years or older.
•Reliable transportation.
•Can lift 50lbs repetitively/100 lbs. in a team lift.
•Follow all PPE requirements.
•Availability to work during operating hours, M-F 7a-6p. Overtime as needed.
Preferred Experience
•Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
•Prior Forklift operation experience
•(WMS) Warehouse Management Systems
