Essential Functions Statement(s) - Services and cleaning the warehouse and outside property are outlined in the Master Cleaning Program.
- Gathers and empties trash.
- Cleans facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Maintains inventory of janitorial supplies and monitors usage of janitorial supplies.
- Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Cleans windows and glass partitions using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Moves heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, carts or industrial scrubber.
- Performs snow and ice removal, and ice-melt application during inclement weather.
- Moves controls to drive battery-powered trucks or carts.
- Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

- Communication - Ability to effectively communicate (in writing and verbally) in a courteous and professional manner with others. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction.
- Mathematics- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Language - Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write simple sentences.

SKILLS & ABILITIES - Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Experience : One (1) year related experience in warehouse environment.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver's License; Forklift Certification preferred.
