Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dispatcher to join our team in the entertainment industry. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of our drivers to pick up and deliver equipment to our customers or vendors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our drivers drive smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Efficiently dispatch personnel and resources to various locations according to the established schedule
• Monitor and track the progress of assignments and provide updates to the appropriate parties
• Coordinate with drivers and field personnel to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Receive and process incoming requests for assistance or services and prioritize them based on urgency
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including assignments, completion times, and any issues encountered
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met
• Remain informed of any changes or updates that could potentially impact the dispatch operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry and understanding of local routes and driver needs
