**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
Focus on quality and accuracy as part of the company-wide goal: Quality First.

Maintain a clean work environment at all times, in accordance with sanitation standard operating procedures.
Expected to maintain good general housekeeping practices throughout the facilities. Reports any sanitation issues to the supervisor.
Participate in user training led by qualified staff members, including hands-on job training, material handling safe practices, Warehouse Management System (WMS) navigation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training. Trainings are documented accordingly.
Certified to safely operate material handling equipment in various areas and applications, such as sit-down counterbalance, deep reach truck, order selector, turret truck, and electric pallet jacks.
Equipment can be utilized in standard aisle configurations, wire-guided configurations, and refrigerated configurations.
Use equipment for inbound trailer unloading, put-away of stock, movement of stock, cycle counting of stock, picking of stock, and outbound loading of trailers and LTL.
Follow system direction as directed by the WMS to complete daily activities.
Perform activities using the WMS through radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick-to-light technologies, or computer-based workstations.
Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended periods while operating powered equipment or manual pallet jacks.
Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle count processes in WMS.
Simultaneously pick and begin packing containers to prepare them for shipping.
Add packing materials to prepare containers for final shipping processes.
Work within various areas of distribution such as Receiving, assorted pick modules, Kitting, Shipping, Returns, DEA, freezer, refrigerated space, Small Order Distribution (SOD).

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 620 Hour(s).
**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in Charlestown, Indiana.
**Work Environment**
Very clean, not very loud
Climate controlled (71F year-round)
Breaks: 2x 15 minutes & 1x 30 minute lunch
Pay period: Sunday to Saturday
Voluntary OT on weekends
Shifts & Pay: 1st shift, 9:00 am 5:30 pm, $17.00/hour
Some jobs will work in Cold Container (refrigerator). In and out, not constantly in there. Can wear a jacket as long as it does not have a hood and isn't too large (Oversized).
