Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious forklift driver to operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, shipping and receiving records and ensuring that all products are handled with care and according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move and stack merchandise and materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, as well as transport materials to and from designated areas and racks.
  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment using the forklift and pulling and stacking by hand, as well as preparing related paperwork.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following established safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating a forklift and knowledge of forklift safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Must have good general computer skills and experience
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
