3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.
1.Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
2.Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.
3.Knowledge of nursing process and ability to integrate into provision of patient care.
4.Knowledge of organizational quality initiatives and ability to provide consistent nursing care to enhance clinical outcomes.
5.Knowledge of focus areas for quality/process improvement.
6.Knowledge and skill related to equipment, disease process and nursing process in the provision of nursing care.
7.Knowledge of Bryan Health policies and procedures.
8.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
9.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.
10.Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
11.Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.
12.Ability to adhere to hospital and department procedures.
13.Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
14.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment relevant to changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program required. BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Nebraska required or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Must provide evidence of certification and/or instruction for practice area as required by State or Federal standards/regulations.
5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
12 hour shifts. They will never work alone. Usual staffing is 2 RN's and a tech. Every 3rd weekend is required. No call.
