    Job Details
  • A hospital in Idaho is in need of a Labor and Delivery RN to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts and must have his/her BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN.
  • Ideal candidates must have 3 years L&D experience and skills in pre-term labor, c-sections and recoveries, and high-risk patients.
    Job Requirements
  • 3 years L&D experience required
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Courses
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Shifts: 06:50-19:20 and 18:50-07:20am
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of L&D Beds: 16 and 13 Antepartum beds
  • Number of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 3
  • Number of Triage beds: 8
  • Number of Postpartum beds: 32 beds on Mother Baby Care Unit
  • Number of Births per day? Month? Year? 4,194 deliveries in 2023
    Additional Details
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Preeclampsia, Previa, Twins, Diabetics
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: LDR, circulate the OR
  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Yes, charge does not take pts unless absolutely no nurses.
  • Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? CSTs every shift
  • OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? OB Laborist 24/7, Neo's also
  • Anesthesia in house 24/7? Yes, we have a designated CRNA 24/7
  • Floating Requirements: Yes, we float to the Meridian, Nampa hospitals.
