  • Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
  • Unit Information: Stroke, CHF, dementia/delirium, cellulitis, COPD, psych, withdrawal, end of life care, covid, dialysis, etc. 26-bed adult medical unit. The team is comprised of RNs, PCAs, unit secretaries, and a charge nurse.
  • Hospital Highlights:
  • Type of Facility: Short-Term Acute Care.
  • Total Staffed Beds: 174.
  • Scrub Color: Red top black bottoms.
  • Charting: Cerner.
  • Parking Cost: Free.
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities. The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

  • Is on-call REQ? No.
  • Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed.
  • Pending License accepted: No. IN/COMPACT LICENSE & REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB.
  • RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
