    Certification Details
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • State licensure as a registered nurse
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring for Labor and Delivery (required after 9/30/2024 for NEW L&D placements)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (if required within the facility)
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable to the emergency department)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (only if the facility specializes in stroke care)

  • Will position float between units: No
  • Is on-call required? No
  • Are weekends required? Yes, at least every other
  • Are block schedules required? No
  • What are the expected patient ratios? 1:3
  • Special requirements: Labor and delivery with postpartum care
