    Job Details
  • COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate verification of all medication orders and safely prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients of BMC, its clinics and all eligible employees.
  • Researches, educates and communicates drug information to physicians, house staff, nurses, other healthcare providers and patients/families.
  • Is knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing process/reports and adheres to all applicable departmental and hospital policies/procedures.
    Job Requirements
  • 3+ years extensive acute care clinical experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college or pharmacy.
  • Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture and parenteral chemotherapy admixture experience preferred.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision within established policy.
  • Must be capable of supervising the work of support personnel.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
    Schedule Information
  • Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
  • NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
  • Traveler must be willing to work one of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.
