Shift: All Days 40 hours per week. Varying shifts. 8s, 10s, 12s. The lab is operational from 0600-1930 with an occasional late case past that time. Plus, call. No weekend requirement-preference is for 2 years+ EP experience (would interview anything over 1 year though) -Would love an RT or RCES certified person, but not required - Must have at least 2 years experience as an EP tech, and either an RT(R) or RCES.- May need to float to other cardiac procedural areas as neededJob OverviewThis role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients. In addition, this position plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care on a team of Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologists, assisting in electrophysiology procedures. Collaborating with other members of the care team, this role is responsible for promoting the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center. Team members display high level abilities and advanced clinical practice while maintaining a willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly changing world of electrophysiologyA clinical technologist role that has specialized knowledge or skills gained through a combination of vocational education, training, and experience. This role will be commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory jobs. An experienced level role requiring basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and requiring vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision, works through problems of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures and communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.This position plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care by assisting in electrophysiology procedures.
